GO-TRI – Your local triathlon
Livewire Warrington is happy to announce that we will be running GO TRI monthly local events. These events are ideal for novice participants aged 15 and above who want to take part in their first ever GO TRI activity.
For those attending, here’s more information:
- Sunday 26th March at Orford Neighbourhood Hub.
- For those that have registered, please meet at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub no later than 11:30am (meet in the foyer near reception).
- Please lock-up all bikes on the racks at the front of the building.
- The event will start at 12 and is due to be complete by 2pm.
- The course routes are as follows: run- around the perimeter path of Orford park/ride – around the path perimeter around Decathlon store.
- Lockers will be available in the swim changing rooms. If using the lockers in the dry change area, please bring your own padlock.
- If participants want to wear a tri-suit for a faster transition, they are free to do so.
Please note this is a ‘tryout’ event / it is not a race and is targeted at those with little or no experience of triathlons!
The event takes place in a public park/paths, and participants are asked to bear this in mind and take care during the event!
Spectators can view the event on both run and ride routes.
