Job Title: Leisure Assistant
Location: Cardinal Newman Football Hub
Hours: 15-18hrs per week – evenings and weekends only (Shift rotas worked between the following core hours: 4:30pm – 10:30pm weekdays & 8:30am to 8:30pm on weekends)
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: 15 hrs – £6,413.00 – £6,845.00 per annum. 18 hrs – £7,696.00 – £8,214.00 per annum
(NLW £9.50 for age 23 and over, rising to £10.42 from 1 April 2023. NMW for age 21-22 £9.18, rising to £10.18 from 1st April 2023.
LiveWire is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to work as a Leisure Assistant at the new Cardinal Newman Football Hub based at the Cardinal Newman Catholic High School.
Please note, although the post holder will be part of the wider leisure team, the role will require the post holder to lone work and therefore are required to be 18years old and above.
LiveWire will be operating the Community Leisure provision outside of the School hours and ensuring our Leisure Partners are able to utilise the new facilities which include:
- Brand new 3G Football Pitch
- Sports Hall
- Changing Areas
- Grass Pitches
The role of a Leisure Assistant is to assist in the provision of a safe, clean and welcoming environment for customers. Specifically, you will act as the key holder to unlock and lock the Community Letting facilities, help move equipment, set up for events, respond to customer enquiries and take part in a daily cleaning rota.
