After graduating from Bristol University with a BSc Hons in Geography, Paul moved to Warrington in 1995 to start his working life with United Utilities and has lived in the town ever since. He later completed a Masters In Business Administration at Manchester Business School and has had a varied career over 25 years within utilities, banking and local government. He is currently working for the National Trust as a Consultancy Manager across Cheshire, Merseyside and Lancashire to help deliver the Trust’s charitable purposes across a wide range of properties and places.
Paul has senior management experience of delivering a broad range of customer facing services, including public leisure and library services, along with experience of leading major change projects to deliver new service delivery models, digital transformation, and carbon net zero strategies.
Paul is married with one adult daughter and a grandson. Sport has always been an important part of his life from playing for school teams to being a member of local clubs for cricket, hockey and golf. He has also contributed to the organisation of these clubs through various roles on committees. Paul also enjoys running and walking to stay active.
