Mind, Movement and Menopause sessions a huge success
LiveWire recently introduced a pilot programme of sessions, at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, for those experiencing or wanting to know more about managing the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.
The six week support pilot programme, Mind, Movement and Menopause, has been designed to help women experiencing the different stages of menopause. The sessions feature a whole-body approach including exercise, nutrition advice, not to mention group support chat with guest speakers.
The challenges of menopause
The programme provides a safe environment to enable you to talk about the challenges of menopause and provide useful guidance in making better informed choices. The exercise sessions include a full workout for heart and bone health and a combination of core and muscle tone exercises.
With a structured exercise class and informational sessions linked to menopause and talks from various health and medical professionals, including a Warrington GP discussing HRT and a clinical consultant psychologist.
