Sunjeeb has lived in Warrington all of his life since his father settled here in the mid 60’s. He is married with two adult children. He attended local schools and colleges; growing up with the local community and seeing Warrington develop into the multicultural town it is today.
Sunjeeb currently works in the public sector and has previous experience of developing customer service strategies, sales and managing people.
He has supported various local groups in the Warrington area to start, develop and progress, holding different positions within these organisations which have helped him to gain valuable experience and develop his skills. He has previously been a Board member for Warrington Council for Voluntary Services and the Peace Centre. Currently he is vice Chair for Warrington Ethnic Communities Association (WECA).
Along with his friends and volunteers he has run community badminton sessions for the past 10 years which are open to all members of the community. These have flourished year on year and with the assistance of volunteers from the local community, badminton coaching workshops and tournaments have been successfully organised.
