Celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III with a family fun Day at Warrington Central Library and Museum
In honour of the coronation of King Charles III, Livewire Libraries invites the community to a family fun day on Sunday, May 7th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Warrington Central Library and Museum. No booking is required – simply turn up and join in the festivities.
Thanks to generous funding from Arts Council England, Livewire Libraries have acquired a storytelling chair dedicated to the coronation, which will be permanently displayed in the children’s area at Warrington Central Library. This event provides the perfect opportunity for families to experience this unique addition to the library.

The family fun day features a variety of activities, including trails, refreshments, and goody bags for the first 50 children in attendance. Engage in digital and craft activities, create your own bunting and crowns, and take royal selfies on our throne. A fire engine will also be present for children to explore.
