Tennis is a great way to stay active, social and healthy. It boosts coordination, stamina and focus while giving you the chance to meet new people and enjoy a fun, competitive sport. At LiveWire, you’ll find first-class facilities for every player, from beginners to advanced. We have 4 macadam outdoor and 4 acrylic indoor courts at Birchwood Community Hub as well as 4 floodlit macadam outdoor courts at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub.

Court Bookings

All courts are available to hire for social games, with sessions starting from just 30 minutes.

Looking to improve your game or learn from scratch? The LiveWire Tennis Programme offers coaching for all ages and abilities, with both group sessions and one-to-one lessons available.

Our qualified coaches create a welcoming, motivating environment where you can build confidence, refine your technique and enjoy the game at your own pace.

Junior coaching

We run a structured development and performance programme for children and young players, designed to help them build skills, confidence and a love for tennis from the very start.

Adult coaching

Adult sessions are available for all ability levels, from complete beginners to advanced players, offering the perfect mix of challenge, fun and fitness.
