Talented Athletes Programme now open for submissions (deadline 8th December)

Warrington’s leading leisure provider, LiveWire, has announced the opening of applications for its esteemed Talented Athletes Programme. This initiative is designed to offer unparalleled support and training opportunities to young, promising athletes, completely free of charge.

The Talented Athlete Programme by LiveWire focuses on nurturing athletes over the age of 14, propelling them towards achieving their maximum potential in their chosen sports. Successful applicants will be awarded a free annual leisure membership, allowing them access to LiveWire’s extensive range of facilities.

As Warrington’s largest provider of leisure services, LiveWire ensures that selected athletes receive not only facility access but also bespoke training programmes. These programmes are meticulously tailored to meet the specific requirements of each athlete’s sport, alongside providing general lifestyle advice to support their overall development.

Submissions by Friday 8th December

Applications are welcomed from both previous and new candidates, with a deadline set for Friday, 8th December. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

– Reside in or represent a sports club in Warrington.

– Compete in a sport recognised by Sport England.

– Be aged 14 or over.

– Ideally, represent their county or country at Junior or Senior level.
