Christmas & New Year opening hours announced
With the festive season fast approaching, we’ve confirmed our Christmas and New Year opening hours for all libraries, leisure centres, and community hubs. Please check the details below before visiting, as hours vary across sites over the festive period.
Christmas Eve – Wednesday 24 December
Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub and Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub and Library will be open from 06:00 – 18:00. Woolston Neighbourhood Hub, Bewsey & Dallam Community Hub, Broomfields Leisure Centre and Birchwood Community Hub will be closed.
Burtonwood Library & Post Office will open between 9:00-13:00 and Orford Community Library will be staffed between 10.00-14.00. Central Library and other community libraries will be closed.
Christmas Day & Boxing Day – 25 & 26 December
All sites will be closed.
Saturday 27 – Tuesday 30 December
Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub and Library, Bewsey & Dallam Community Hub, Broomfields Leisure Centre and Birchwood Community Hub will be open with reduced hours, while Woolston Neighbourhood Hub will remain closed during this period.
