Celebrating World Book Day with LiveWire libraries!
Celebrating World Book Day
Warrington’s libraries are set to mark World Book Day on Thursday 6 March with a series of exciting events designed to inspire a love of reading among children and families across Warrington.
Members of the LiveWire team will be visiting the Baby Zone at Youth Zone to meet with families and distribute free books and World Book Day vouchers.
Meanwhile, the town’s library sites will be hosting story-times, crafts, and themed activities, with school groups invited to take part in dedicated library sessions.
The celebrations have been made even more special following a visit to Warrington Town Hall, where members of the libraries team met Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Wendy Johnson, who generously donated books to support the event and encourage more children to discover the joy of reading.
