Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub is scheduled to re-open on Thursday, 15 January following final safety inspections taking place this week

We’re now working towards the re-opening of the gym at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub on Thursday, 15 January, following inspections due to take place this week.

We’ve been working closely with specialist contractors to carry out essential safety inspections of the gym floor and electrical systems.

It has now been confirmed the structural integrity of the flooring and electrics in the area have not been affected, making the gym safe to use.

There are some outstanding repairs that are still to be completed – however, we are committed to providing advance notice should this necessitate any further, short-term disruption.

A final inspection of the gym will now take place on Wednesday 14 January, to ensure we’re ready to re-open the following day. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience as we’ve taken the necessary steps to return the gym to safe, operational use.
