'Live well with LiveWire'

Volunteering opportunities with LiveWire

LiveWire is pleased to offer a variety of volunteering opportunities whatever your interest or availability.  For those who are primarily interested in books and learning we can offer roles as a Library Activities and Events Buddy. If leisure and lifestyles is your thing then a variety of roles are available with opportunities as Active LiveWire Volunteers and Health Walk Leaders.
And of course, we always put our customers first so have opportunities for friendly, outgoing people to undertake some Mystery Shopping.

If you have some time to spare and you’re interested in volunteering with LiveWire we would love to hear from you.

Are you friendly and welcoming?  Are you interested in meeting members of the public and telling them all about the fantastic things that LiveWire offers?  If so, then you might like to be an Active LiveWire Volunteer and help plan and deliver the smooth and safe running of events and activities either within LiveWire sites or out in the community. For more information please contact Paul Flannery pflannery@livewirewarrington.org

Community and Wellbeing Mentors play an active part in promoting leisure, libraries and lifestyles within LiveWire venues and at community and wellbeing events across the town.  Supporting health programmes, Community and Wellbeing Ambassadors will also use their own experiences to encourage and motivate others. For more information please contact Neil Morley.

Health Walk Leaders welcome walkers to the walk and make sure that registration forms are completed.  They lead and manage walks by following a designated route, usually in conjunction with other walk leaders making sure they are enjoyable and safe. There are also opportunities to gain a recognised Volunteer Walk Leader qualification. For more information please contact Neil Morley.

We are looking for reliable and friendly people with excellent IT skills to deliver a new IT Helpdesk at Warrington Library.  The role involves providing 1-2-1 help to people who want to use our public computers.  For more information please contact Julie Hoffman at jhoffman@livewirewarrington.org
