Pay Range: £53,556 to £57,756

Fixed Term Contract – 6 months

LiveWire is seeking to appoint a Neighbourhood and Wellbeing Director on an interim basis for six months, to lead the delivery of its leisure, library and lifestyle services. This is an exciting opportunity to further lead the transformation and development of LiveWire’s service areas with a continued focus on customer service and quality provision.

The position is fundamental to growing the business through innovative approaches and leading the development of strategic projects. The job holder will play a leading role in identifying and implementing new models of working - working with key stakeholders and partners to further improve the health outcomes for the residents of Warrington. 

LiveWire is a Community Interest Company (CIC), established in May 2012.  LiveWire is the largest provider of wellbeing, sport, leisure and library facilities and activities in the town, operating two neighbourhood hubs, four leisure centres, and eleven libraries which attract more than three million visitors each year. The job  holder will be responsible for leading and managing the leisure, library and  lifestyle service areas within the organisation; engendering a much stronger commercial focus whilst simultaneously delivering commissioners’ priorities. The position will also be responsible for continually developing the service through industry knowledge, commercial awareness and links with internal and external partners. 

To fill this role, applicants will need to be able to demonstrate a track record of multi-site and multi-functional management and the ability to provide strategic leadership and to motivate others to successfully deliver service initiatives and priorities together with experience of successful partnership development and project delivery through partnerships.
