Library Assistant

Location: Stockton Heath Library

Hours: 16.75 per week

Rate of Pay: £15,059.00 - £16,073.00 (pro-rata for part time working)

We are looking for a Library Assistant to work at Stockton Heath library. The hours of work are 16.75 per week. This will be on a 2 week rota including Saturday working.

Duties include promoting reading, the issue and return of books, shelving, assisting customers to access information and dealing with customer enquiries.   You will be required to give advice on the diverse range of services offered by LiveWire and how to access them. Full training will be given.

You will have excellent customer service skills, be a good communicator and have a genuine passion for reading and libraries. As LiveWire is a Health and Wellbeing company, you will also be expected to have a keen interest in this subject area.

The role of a Leisure Assistant is to assist with the provision of a safe, clean and welcoming environment for customers. Specifically, you will help move equipment, set up for events, respond to customer enquiries and take part in a daily cleaning rota.

Leisure Assistants are also expected to support the sale of memberships. You will provide information on membership packages to customers and show them around the facilities.

If you are a customer orientated individual with experience and/or an interest in sport leisure, the ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent customer service, then we’d like to hear from you.

LiveWire is looking for a Lifeguard to work at the multi-million pound re-development of Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub with:

A current and valid NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification), with a commitment to ongoing training.

The ability to work as part of a shift rota including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Job Title:               Hub Service Advisor

Location:               Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub

LiveWire are looking for Hub Service Advisors to work variable permanent hours at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub.

You will be the first point of contact for customers entering the Hub and will provide them with clear, concise information and help them to navigate the building.

You will also support the frontline delivery of services, for example, the issue and return of books, maintaining a welcoming, clean and tidy library and selling LiveWire memberships as well as promoting other LiveWire services.

Knowledgeable, friendly with excellent interpersonal and customer servicing skills, Hub Service Advisors are key to achieving the full integration of our services.

Full training will be given.

LiveWire has twelve libraries throughout Warrington and you would be expected to be available to work at any of the libraries. The hours of work are flexible and availability of hours depends on the needs of the business.

Libraries are open throughout the week including Sundays at some facilities.
