12 month Fixed Term Contract

37 hours per week – working a shift pattern including evenings and weekends

LiveWire is a Community Interest Company managing leisure, library and lifestyle services in Warrington. It is the largest provider of leisure and library facilities in the town.
LiveWire is seeking apprentices to work in leisure operations as Leisure Assistants/Lifeguards at a number of its sites.

Successful candidates will work as part of a team and maintain a clean and tidy environment, respond to customer needs, handle customer enquiries, and set up equipment for activities and events.

Apprentices will also be expected to achieve the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and on completion will supervise customers in the pool and surrounding areas.
At the end of the apprenticeship, apprentices will have gained an Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 in Operational Services.

Applicants will need to be:
- Strong swimmers and will be subject to timed swim test as part of the selection process

- Flexible
- Hardworking
- Committed to learning

LiveWire will pay the National Minimum Wage hourly rate appropriate for age.
