Description:

LiveWire is seeking to appoint a full time Housekeeper at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub. Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining a clean environment for our customers with the minimum of disruption. Duties include cleaning, polishing and dusting at high and low levels within the communal areas. Deep cleaning male changing rooms and toilets as well as those for families and football teams is also required.

A good knowledge of cleaning fluids and detergents and their use would be advantageous, as would a basic understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements when cleaning in a public building.

The job holder must be able to handle all the appropriate cleaning equipment, have the ability to work as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers alike.

Culture Warrington is an organisation incorporating Pyramid & Parr Hall and Warrington Museum & Art Gallery. The venues play host to a variety of high profile events, conferences and concerts.

We require the services of a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to assist with cleaning at the Museum & Art Gallery.

You will need experience in cleaning of public buildings, including the use of various cleaning materials & equipment, ensuring that Health & Safety measures are maintained at all times.

You will need to have the ability to work as both an individual and a part of a wider team. You must have pride in the work you undertake and be physically fit and in good health.

The role will be fixed hours to meet the needs of the venue.

At Culture Warrington, we have a permanent vacancy for a Visitor Services Assistant.

Based at Warrington Museum and Art Gallery, you will be part of our Front of House team helping to ensure the smooth operation of the building for the enjoyment of visitors and the security of the collections. Committed to customer care, you will contribute towards a rewarding visitor experience by providing general assistance and information to the general public and educational groups. You will also, as part of a team, provide informal learning such as guided tours and craft activities. You must be motivated and an excellent time keeper.

Following appropriate training the successful candidate will also be involved in installing and dismantling exhibitions, and moving artefacts which requires confidence, basic technical skills (DIY and AV) and the ability to work at height.

Visitor Service Assistants are responsible for ensuring the security of the main building and related off site facilities and experience in related employment is essential.

This job involves working regular Saturdays and occasional evenings, and from time to time working at other sites within Culture Warrington such as Pyramid and Parr Hall.
