'Live well with LiveWire'

  1. When a swim lesson cannot be provided due to a swim teacher absence LiveWire Aquatics will endeavour to give as much notice as possible of any cancellation. Refunds of fees will only be given if a swim lesson cannot be provided.
  2. The Learn to Swim pass is not transferable or refundable except stated in the T&C’s.
  3. Your Learn to Swim pass may be suspended at the discretion of LiveWire Aquatics following a written request where:
    1. Injury or illness prevents participation.
    2. A medical condition not falling within 3a prevents participation and a medical certificate is produced.
  4. LiveWire Aquatics accepts no liability for breach of its obligations under this agreement, where that failure is attributed to:
    1. The fault of the parent or pupil.
    2. A third party unconnected with the provision of services under this agreement.
    3. Events which neither the swim programme nor its suppliers could have foreseen or forestalled even if it had taken all reasonable care.
  5. LiveWire Aquatics reserves the right to amend direct debit payments; a 1 month advance notification will be given.
  6. A monthly fee is payable either by direct debit or credits purchased cash at reception with a minimum of 5-credits purchased at any one time. The fee includes tuition, swim & spectator (one month’s notice is required in writing to LiveWire Aquatics on cancellation of swim membership).
  7. If I chose to purchase credits by cash, I fully understand that I must always remain in credit and top-up before the last credit runs out. Failure to do this will affect the place on the appropriate course.
  8. Pupils should use the toilet and shower before entering the pool.
  9. Parents should refrain from entering poolside to speak to the swimming teacher and any query or complaint must be made in writing to LiveWire Aquatics Manager.
  10. Replacement/alternative lessons will not be granted for lessons missed because of holidays or other commitments.
  11. All requests to change swimming lessons must be made in writing to the Aquatics Coordinator at the centre your child swims at.
  12. Children under the age of 8 years must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.
  13. Where possible all jewellery must be removed prior to the lesson.
  14. Pupils must not enter the pool hall more than 5 minutes prior to their lesson time and then only if the swimming teacher or lifeguard are present on the poolside.
  15. Spectator areas are provided adjacent to the pools at the leisure centres. However there is limited seating available at Great Sankey & Broomfields Leisure Centres and it may not always be possible to view the swimming lessons.
  16. LiveWire Aquatics integrates all pupils regardless of ability/disability, into its main stream swimming lessons.
  17. It is advisable to use lockers provided via reception and a 1.00 refundable deposit is required.
  18. LiveWire Aquatics office must be updated as soon as possible with any change of contract or bank details by contacting 01925 813939 (ext. 204).
  19. LiveWire Aquatics reserves the right to withdraw a Learn to Swim pass at any time if it reasonably considers it necessary to do so in the interests of the pupil, other users of the centre or its staff.
