Your chance to learn more about improvements and changes at Warrington Museum & Central Library
We are making some improvements!
During September Warrington’s 152-year-old town centre museum and library building will be closed for 2 weeks for a mini refurbishment.
We are re-energising our spaces to create a hub of creativity, heritage and learning for the town by increasing the links between the museum and library services and make a number of cosmetic to the building plus the creation of immersive activity spaces, improved entry and access points; a new library counter, new branding, plus designated spaces for exhibitions and pop-up cafes..
As part of the changes Warrington Museum & Art Gallery and Central Library will become ‘Warrington Museum & Library’ and the building would be open to the public from 10am to 4.30pm on Wednesdays to Fridays, 10am to 4pm on Saturdays, and on Sundays between 11am and 3pm.
To find out more about the proposed improvements pop along to the stakeholder engagement sessions on Wednesday 24th July and Tuesday 6th August at 6pm at Central Library.
