Warrington Town Gala celebrates local aquatic talent at Orford Hub

Orford Hub was buzzing with energy recently as we hosted the Warrington Town Gala, a lively celebration of the borough’s young aquatic talent.

The event brought together swimmers from LiveWire’s Learn to Swim programme, alongside promising athletes from the Warriors of Warrington and Warrington Swim Club, recognising their commitment, progress and passion for the sport.

Visitors also enjoyed craft stalls and took part in a charity raffle, with all proceeds donated to Warrington Foodbank.

The evening was a resounding success, showcasing various aquatic programmes designed to foster youth participation. Attendees were treated to inspiring testimonials from young athletes, emphasising the life-changing impact of these initiatives.

The gala served not only as a celebration of achievements but also as a platform to galvanise further support for expanding opportunities in aquatic sports. Collectively, LiveWire and the local clubs reaffirmed their dedication to nurturing the next generation of swimmers and aquatic enthusiasts.
