Orford Hub gym re-fit

A mix of Traditional cardiovascular and resistance equipment will be complemented by Technogym’s new ‘Skill’ range of functional cardiovascular equipment; Skillmills and Skillrows. LiveWire will be one of the first sites in the UK to install the new Skillrows along with Technogym’s new ‘Climb’ machines.

Equipment, provided by Technogym – who kitted out the training centres during the London 2012 Olympic Games – will bring the latest interactive digital technology to the fitness suite. A new layout and design will also be incorporated to provide more space for functional training – a type of exercise which involves training the body for activities performed in everyday life. The space will also see the creation of a speed track with sled pull, along with a larger matted area created for floorwork, core exercises and stretching.

To allow for the installation of the new equipment to take place, the fitness suite will be closed from Monday 3rd July until Friday 14th July please check the website for re-opening times. During this time, LiveWire members can use any of LiveWire’s five other fitness suites across the town.
