LiveWire’s sports development team wins regional ‘Community Safety Project of the Year’ award
LiveWire’s sports development team achieved a remarkable victory as they were awarded the North West Street Games Community Safety Project of the Year recently, during an awards ceremony held at Leigh Sports Village.
The prestigious awards were a significant part of the annual network meeting, attracting projects from across the North West region. LiveWire’s outstanding efforts in their “Back on Track” project were rightfully acknowledged, serving as a testament to the project’s transformative impact on lives.
The project’s success has been particularly notable in its work with young people in the youth justice system and those teetering on the brink of school exclusion, among others. The dedication and immense contributions of all project staff members played a pivotal role in achieving this well-deserved recognition.
Paul Flannery, LiveWire’s sports development manager, said: “Celebrating our achievement in the community safety category is truly uplifting. This award is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our team in making a significant impact where it’s needed the most in our communities.”
