LiveWire Creche at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub to hold free open morning for families

The crèche at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub is holding a free open event to showcase its services.

The LiveWire-run crèche is based in the Hub and is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 12noon for youngsters aged from 3 months up to their 5th birthday.

The facility allows carers the chance to drop their children off to be looked after by paediatric first aid trained and fully DBS checked staff, while they enjoy a workout. Customers can book from 1 to 3 hours childcare a day at a reasonable cost.

It’s a safe, secure environment with lots of age appropriate toys and secure outside area with soft flooring.

From books to crafts, educational toys to sensory play in the dedicated baby section, there’s so much to keep little ones happy and occupied while members hit the gym, class or pool.

The crèche reopened earlier in the summer following the pandemic-enforced closure, and to celebrate, and showcase the fantastic facility, LiveWire is holding a free open event at the crèche on Saturday 2nd October 9am-1pm.

It’s a chance to come along and look around the crèche, and speak to staff while youngsters can have a little play. The open day is free and drop-in. Please note children must be supervised by their carer during the event.

Jake McKie, LiveWire’s Facilities Manager at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, said: “We were delighted to reopen our crèche following lockdown as we know how valuable the service is to many of our customers. As one of the only leisure facilities in Warrington that offers childcare, we hope the crèche helps to give carers of young children chance to take some time for themselves to exercise. The open day is the perfect chance to come and have a look around the crèche, so if you didn’t know about it, or haven’t had the chance to check it out, please do come along with your little one and take a look and talk to staff.”
