Grab a ‘date with a book’ this Valentine’s Day at LiveWire Libraries
Grab a ‘date with a book’ on Monday 14th February at LiveWire libraries as staff give out free gift wrapped books to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Each of LiveWire’s 13 libraries across the borough will have 5 free mystery books to give away to customers on Valentine’s Day – on a first come, first served basis. One per customer.
The books are either from the romance, thriller, mystery or anthology genres and have a teaser description on the front in the style of a dating advert.
The books are free and for people to keep, they don’t need to be checked out or returned to the library.
So book in for a date with LiveWire and be prepared for an exciting new adventure between the pages of a book this Valentine’s Day.
Rachel Ralston, LiveWire’s Strategic Library Manager, said: “We hope these gift wrapped books and their ‘lonely hearts’ style descriptions will raise a smile for people on Valentine’s Day, and people lucky enough to get their hands on a copy will enjoy reading them. But if you do miss out on one, many of our libraries have special February 14th book displays, so why not check out a new book regardless.”
