COOKING WITH LOIS | Prawn Salad

This week we’re making Prawn Salad 

Ingredients ( Serves 2) 

* any salad ingredients (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, peppers, onion, sweet corn, olives, artichoke, celery, radish, avocado)
*1 pack of prawns
*2 boiled eggs (optional)

Dressing
*2 tbsp of mayonnaise
*1 tbsp of tomato ketchup
*few drops of Tabasco or chilli sauce
*capful of brandy (optional)
*1/2-1 tsp of horseradish (optional)

 

 

METHOD:

1. Chop all salad ingredients and divide between to plates
2. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and add the prawns.
3. Top the prawns on top of the salad and add your eggs if using.

TIP- little gem / romaine lettuce last far longer in the fridge than standard bags
