Broomfields Leisure Centre – Fitness Suite Update – 25.08.22
Further to our previous articles on 19.08.22 and 29.07.22.
We are pleased to confirm that the works to replacement the suspended ceiling in the fitness suite at Broomfields Leisure Centre will commence on Tuesday 30th August.
At this stage we do not have confirmed timescale for the works which, in addition to the suspended ceiling replacement, also entails elements of mechanical and electrical work in relation to the associated lighting and air conditioning systems.
We hope to be able to provide an update as to when the works will be completed and the fitness suite will reopen on Wednesday 31st August.
In line with our previous messages, this will impact some of the main centre opening hours, working around the wider site programme. Therefore, we advise that all customers/members check our website for the pool programme and group exercise class details, and ideally pre-book your place before visiting.
Note that all programmed swimming, group exercise classes, sports hall bookings, and outdoor activities on the 3G all-weather pitch will run as normal unless you are contacted by us and informed otherwise. The Superstars school holiday programme will also be operating as planned.
