Back by popular demand, we’re pleased to be offering another set of sessions for Mind, Movement, Menopause starting for six weeks from Wednesday 15th March
This six-week support programme, just £20 for the whole course, takes place on Wednesday evenings (from 7pm) at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub.
LiveWire Warrington has developed the 6 week support programme to help women who are experiencing the different stages of menopause. The programme includes both NHS guidance and other alternative approaches covering topics such as:
What is menopause?
– Symptoms and lesser known symptoms
– Nutrition and weight management
– Exercise
– HRT
– Psychological impact
– Coping strategies
What can I expect from the programme?
The programme consists of 45 minutes of exercise with a focus on a full workout for heart and bone health and a combination of core and muscle tone exercises followed by 45 minutes of education and support talks to share personal experiences.
Embedded in the programme are a number of guest speakers including a local Warrington GP and a Clinical Psychologist.
The programme provides a safe environment to enable you to talk about the challenges of menopause and provide you with the guidance in making better informed choices.
Who is the programme aimed at?
The purpose is to help women experiencing the different stages of menopause. The sessions will include a whole-body approach including exercise, nutrition advice, not to mention group support chat with guest speakers.
