Announcement: The Garden Spa at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub will not reopen following lockdown

ANNOUNCEMENT RE THE GARDEN SPA

The Garden Spa, based at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub, will not reopen it has been announced by LiveWire.

The luxury wellness day spa, operated by LiveWire, has been closed since March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite Five Star reviews since launching in February 2019, The Garden Spa was not yet operating at a profit, and the potential loss of future custom caused by the pandemic, regretfully means reopening is not financially viable for LiveWire, a Community Interest Company.

Following a consultation period with the affected staff members LiveWire is looking to support employees with redeployment opportunities across the wider organisation to ensure any redundancies are kept to a minimum.
