A Message For Our Members: Suspension of Payments
Important Notice for Our Members
As announced yesterday, following government guidance, all LiveWire’s sites are now closed until further notice.
Due to the closure of our facilities and services, we have suspended membership payments – no further payments will be taken from you until our services are resumed.
This includes; fitness, tennis, swim lessons, gymnastics.
We ask that you do not cancel your direct debit and can assure you no payments will be collected until the reopening of our facilities.
For annual members, the equivalent time will be credited to them to extend their membership term.
In addition, we would like to reassure our members that we are still here for YOU and your health and wellbeing needs.
Our doors maybe shut, but our staff are still here, and ready to do our best to help you and your families keep fit and well – mentally and physically – in the coming weeks.
Keeping our brains and bodies active in whatever ways we can has never been more important, as we try to adjust to our new normal!
As such we are working very hard to bring you as many virtual options as possible – that you can access from the safety and comfort of your own homes.
From workouts to mindfulness, E-Books to craft videos we will be working over the coming days to quickly put together other exciting things for you to try virtually.
We already have some great options available including free access to Les Mills workouts at home and other fitness videos from our Leisure and Lifestyles advisors. Read more about these options here: https://livewirewarrington.co.uk/news/2346-we-are-still-here-for-you
As a not-for-profit community interest company, we’d like to thank our customers for their ongoing support.
The services we provide – many of which are free of charge – are dependent on the income generated by our memberships, and any drop in this revenue, however temporary, will have a lasting impact on the future of LiveWire.
Over the past few days everyone at LiveWire has been really moved by our customers who have come forward to say they don’t want to suspend their memberships, and instead for LiveWire to consider the money a contribution to the work and services being done by our teams. Thank you for this.
So in recognition of these requests, following the suspension of our memberships, we have launched a fundraising appeal, to allow members to donate whatever they can afford in the interim.
If you can afford to, and would like to, you can donate here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/livewire-member-donations?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1
We look forward to welcoming everyone back through our doors as soon as is possible – and please keep in touch with us via our social media pages in the meantime.
YOUR town, YOUR wellbeing, YOUR LiveWire
