Level 2 – £12.06 – £13.63 per hour

Now is the time to join LiveWire as a Swim Teacher as the organisation embarks on the re-development and expansion of their Learn to Swim Programme across all sites.
LiveWire has multiple roles as either a Level 1 or Level 2 Swim Teacher across our Learn to Swim Programme which runs across all our pools based at Bewsey and Dallam Community Hub, Broomfields Leisure Centre, Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub, Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub and Woolston Neighbourhood Hub.
As part of the programme redevelopment, LiveWire is looking to expand the programme, and therefore, any swim teachers with experience in teaching babies and toddlers, adults, children with additional needs would be encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, motivational and supportive individuals, who promote a fun teaching environment to inspire children to enjoy swimming. Good communication skills and a knowledge of the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework are important skills to hold.
A flexible and adaptable work ethic along with experience of assisting Beginners, Improvers and/or Advanced learners, along with a mix of ages would be advantageous. Ideally, applicants should hold a current RLSS National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC) qualification or National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
There are also opportunities to support anyone currently without a Swim Teacher qualification to train up as a Swim Teacher if they are able to commit to a minimum of two shifts a week following successful completion of their course/s.
