LiveWire is embarking on an exciting redevelopment of its Aquatic Programmes with an aim to grow the programme back to pre-pandemic levels and re-establish itself as the leading aquatic activity provider in Warrington. This brings with it exciting new opportunities to become part of the LiveWire Aquatics Team including the role of Aquatics Manager who will be responsible for leading our team of Swim Teachers through this journey.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Learn to Swim Programme, School Swim and Water Safety Programme and supporting the wider aquatic offer, LiveWire are looking for someone who is passionate about aquatics or physical activity and its role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the nation. They need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic, be comfortable leading, managing and inspiring a team, have experience of programme management and be able to communicate with a range of partners to support programme delivery and development.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the development and expansion of the Aquatics Programme, identifying areas for growth, new income stream and meeting the demands of the local community. They will also support the provision of competitive swimming at LiveWire, developing a strong pathway between the Learn to Swim Programme and LiveWire’s Development Swim Squads.
An empathetic and flexible approach to the role would be beneficial, along with the ability to adapt and show resilience.
