About Bewsey & Dallam Community Hub
LiveWire have been working with Warrington Borough Council (WBC) and other partners including Torus to deliver a range of services and activities from the Hub. The facility will be operated by LiveWire, in line with the existing management agreement in place for the delivery of services in Warrington. This includes the operational management of leisure centres and hubs, libraries and lifestyle and wellbeing services.
The new Community Hub is a project originally developed through the Delivering Wellbeing in Bewsey and Dallam programme. Warrington Borough Council and other partners including Torus have provided the necessary capital investment along with a grant awarded by Sport England.
The Hub will provide much needed community and wellbeing facilities for the area. Located on Longshaw Street, opposite the existing playing fields, it is ideally placed to serve the local community. LiveWire will work in partnership with WBC’s Neighbourhoods team to support increased participation in activities, strengthen community groups and to promote the Hub as local facility for local people.
Whilst we will not be seeking full accreditation for the building in the same way as was achieved at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub, the design and fit out of the building has all been deliberately planned with reference to the same Dementia Friendly guidance at all stages.
