Click and collect library service launches for Woolston users
LiveWire Libraries is introducing a click and collect library service to support Woolston Library users while the Woolston Hub is temporarily unavailable.
The service allows customers to continue borrowing library books by requesting items in advance for collection at Woolston Hub on selected days.
How click and collect works
Library users can request up to six books by emailing clickandcollect@livewirewarrington.org with the following information:
- Your full name
- Your library card number
- The genre of books you would like (for example: thrillers, general fiction, children’s picture books)
To help manage demand, requests should be made by genre only.
While staff will do their best to meet preferences, specific titles or authors cannot be guaranteed.
Collection and returns
- Collection day: Wednesdays
- Time: Between 1pm to 2.30pm
- Location: Outside Woolston Hub
Existing library items can also be returned at the same time.
Key dates
- Requests open: now
- First collections available: From 13 May 2026
Please note that this service is designed specifically for pre-requested items. Unfortunately, browsing or choosing books on the day will not be available.
Demand for the click and collect service will be kept under review.
Full details are available in the Click and Collect Policy on the LiveWire website.
