Supporting our Water Wellbeing provision across our pools, Aqua Relax is a public pool session supporting people with long term health conditions and limited mobility to access the pool for a range of aquatic activity.
Pool space can be used to support aquatic rehab, leisurely swimming, Good Boost participation, aquatic activity to support relaxation e.g floating. Swimmers can attend independently or supported by a carer. Swimming aids such as noodles and floats allowed.
These sessions can be booked via the LiveWire App but please check this is the right session for you before booking.
Suitable for:
– People living with a long term health condition. For example but not exclusively:
– Anyone living with dementia and anyone caring for them
– Anyone living with a neuroligical condition such as Parkinsons or MS
– Anyone recovering from a joint replacement or any other
muscolo-skeletal condition or injury
– Anyone living with mental health issues such as anxiety
– Anyone living with conditions such as autism
– Good Boost participants
– All ages but children must attend with a responsible adult
