LiveWire raises over £2,200 for Macmillan through community coffee mornings
Throughout September, LiveWire centres across Warrington hosted a series of Macmillan Coffee Mornings, bringing together members, staff, and local communities in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity and involvement, an incredible £2,221.31 was raised and with raffle tickets still on sale, that total is set to grow.
Each site brought its own unique flavour to the fundraising, with homemade bakes, friendly chats, and a range of activities that made every event special.
Bewsey and Dallam Hub (19th September)
Bewsey and Dallam kicked things off with a warm and welcoming morning. Guests enjoyed delicious cakes donated by Alison Loves to Bake and Ann Robinson, and Chelsea from the Stop Smoking Team joined us to show her support.
It was a lovely gathering full of friendly faces and great conversation.
Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub (23rd September)
Sankey turned fundraising into a full-day celebration, complete with the launch of Body Combat 104.

Members wore green, joined in the fun, and helped raise a fantastic amount for Macmillan.

Huge thanks to all the instructors and members who got involved and made the day unforgettable.
Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub (24th September)
Coffee, cake, and a raffle made for a brilliant morning at Orford. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with plenty of smiles and generous donations.
Raffle tickets are still being sold, so we’re excited to see the final total rise even further.
Broomfields Leisure Centre (26th September)
Broomfields wrapped up the week with a cosy coffee morning where cake and conversation flowed. A big thank you to everyone who joined in and supported the event.

These events were more than just fundraisers. They were a celebration of community, kindness, and the power of coming together.
Whether you baked, donated, joined an activity, or simply stopped by for a chat, your support has helped make a real difference.
