Accessible Swim is specially designed to support access to the pool for individuals that need assistance by a Carer or Aid (walking stick, wheelchair or other support equipment). Their carer/guardian must stay in the pool with the person attending the pool session, at all times.
Pool hoists or Pool Pods (dependent on pool) are available to support access to the pool where steps aren’t suitable.
If taking place in the main pool please be aware that the pool will become progressively deeper towards the deep end.
Suitable for:
– Any age but anyone attending under 16 years old will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 years
– People living with long term health condition and/or limited mobility
