I have been working within health & fitness industry for 24 years, 12 of them as a Personal Trainer and Coach.

My journey started from a really young age at 7 and my main sports being rugby league and boxing.

I did a lot of amateur interclub boxing and went on to play for Salford Red Devils Academy in rugby league.

I then studied gym instructing and coaching from where worked my way up to fitness management and founding my own PT company in 2012.

I returned to Salford Red Devils in 2013 where I worked as an Assistant Fitness & Conditioning Coach for 2 seasons working with the scholarship, academy and first team squads.

I truly believe that the role of a Personal Trainer should always be to coach, educate and motivate a person to believe in their fitness journey, achieve the specific goals that we set out and most importantly of all make it FUN. Once all that is achieved then you have all the tools and confidence to go and train independently in any gym in the world.

Over the years I’ve had the reward of working with little old ‘Derek & Doris’ who just want to improve their quality of life, coaching young children, right through to top level professional athletes and let me tell you it’s made adapt, grow, and reflect to become what I believe to be a fantastic PT & Coach.

HOBBIES & INTERESTS
I love spending time with my children, finding new adventures and traveling. I obviously enjoy the gym and train 5 days a week, I enjoy most sports, but I also like a good book and a piece of cake (just don’t tell my clients)
